What is this place?

Hi, I’m Lia. In 2011, I created Small Fox Press as a sort of digital diary chronicling my creative journey as an artist and illustrator. In 2026, I made the decision to move away from social media and onto a more private platform, where I can maintain sole ownership of what I create and more control over who sees it.

I created this newsletter because I’d rather forge real connections with a handful of folks than pander to an algorithm, or allow my “content” to be used to train AI slop machines.
